THE CARDBOARD CHALLENGE - A DAY OF PLAY
Columbus Museum of Art and the Past Foundation have selected Hilliard City Schools to host a Community Cardboard Challenge. The event will take place on Saturday, October 1st from 9:00am until 12:00pm at Heritage Middle School (5670 Scioto Darby Road, Hilliard). We are super excited that our Hilliard City Schools Community can be a part of something truly remarkable. It is sure to be a day your child won't forget!
Students (and their parents) will have the opportunity to play and experiment while learning and using their critical thinking skills. It will be a morning of imagination, creative challenges, and cardboard fueled fun!

If you are able to DONATE any of the following, we would be so grateful:
- Scissors
- Duct Tape and/or Clear Packing Tape
- Markers
- Cardboard (Boxes of all sizes, shapes and colors, in pieces or as whole boxes), Cardboard Tubes (think wrapping paper, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, packing tubes), Cereal Boxes, gift boxes, appliance boxes, anything cardboard big or small.

If you are able to VOLUNTEER for this event, we are looking for approximately 80-85 volunteers combined from all the participating Hilliard schools: Scioto Darby, JW Reason, Beacon, Crossing, Alton Darby, Darby Creek, Horizon, and Britton.
In order to create a welcoming and engaging event, we will divide our volunteers up into 4 zones:
Zone 1: Investigate
Zone 2: Design
Zone 3: Create
Zone 4: Evaluate
